NDA dog behavior trainer

Exsternal teachers will come during the study.
This education are in modules of four levels.
The two first levels are the basics and gives admittance to the next levels.
The first weekend is the basics, we start saturday morning from 9.00-18.00 in the afternoon. Sunday the same way.
The second weekend with the basics we start friday evening at 19.00-22.00. Saturday from 09.00-18.00 and sunday from 09.00-18.00 in the afternoon.
After the two basics, all weekend seminars will begin friday at 19.00-22.00 evening, saturday and sunday from 09.00-18.00.
Each topic will be worked moore intensly for each level and new topics will be added the level.
The more levels you get through the harder and moore intense we will dig into it. After graduation your "titel" will be "Certified NDA behavior Instructor"

NDA behavior instructor level 1. is the proff.level and is basic for enrollment to other educations on NDA.

Modul 4, NDA behaviorinstructor level 1 is what we call the professional instructor. This degree is only shortly desribed on this site because it variable.
Modul 4 is a short reptitioning of the other moduls but we will work deeper with understanding the behavior of the dog and there will be other teachers in this part.
There will be a lot of out doore practising on dog owners and a lot about how to teach and coach dogowners.
After graduation the "titil" will be
"NDA hehavior instructor, level 1"
Modul 4,level 1 will tke 5 weekends
One weekend about first aid for dogs by a vet. and training
One weekend about dog massage by a certified masseur of dogs
One weekend about team training and a lot about stress
One weekend about grooming and training
One weekend with repetiton and examen
This modul containes as well a bigger project assignment where the student must find a dog with a training problem and work her way through it.
The assignment is training of the dog and owner to solve the problem. Each visit and training sekvens must be taped op a video recorder and a report of all the steps must follow the video.
The assignment is training of the dog and the owner, with a report of each step through the training process.
The video clips must show both dog, owner but also the trainer so we can see how the trainer works as a teacher and coach.
The student can choose to deliver a report and videoclips once a month or deliver it all after 3 months of work.
Each student is responsible to get a dog, dogowner , videocamera and someone to film the whole process.
Because this level is the proffesionel level the price is a little higher each weekend.
Each weekend is DKr. 1900,00 plus up till DKr. 300,00 extra for ekstern teachers.
"Titel" after graduation will be "Certified NDA behavior instructor, level 1"
This graduation gives acces to the other educations and seminars on NDA
Price for level 1 is total DKr. 7600,00
Total price for all levels from bacic, 2, 3 and 1 is DKr. 26.300,00
The whole education
To go through all moduls will take 16 weekends in total.
To be allowed to raise from one módul to the next you must be able to document to have passed the previous moduls
Passing basic and moduls 1-3 gives a diploma
Passing it all from basic to modul 1 gives a certificate
If you for some reason are not able to to take all moduls in a line, you can take the rest of the muduls later when another class is at the level you left.
If you need to take the levels like that, the latest modul you left from, must not be moore than a year, and you must have proof that you have acted as trainer/helper at an obidientschool during the year you have been gone to pick up the study again.
If the latest modul is later that one year you must pass a test to show you are ready to continue from where you left. This is only an option if you can document you have worked as a trainer or helper at an obidientschool.
If you cant do that you must start one modul lower that from where you left to get it repeted.
Training practice
You must be aware of, if the study is in Denmark you must follow yhe training lessons once a week on one of our centres or something must be arranged about training at your place.
As students must follow a class with his/her own dog he/she gets 10% off the payment of the class.
When a student must follow a trainer just watching it is for free as a part of the study.
All students must follow a calss with his/her own dog.
After that you must follow a trainer one a week for at leest one class (10 weeks once a week) on one of our training centers.
Students from other countries must work something else out with Vibeke Sch. Reese
You must partivipate on a class for both family training, obedient training and Agility if the training center has it all.
Demands for assignment 23 years of age.
We try to make all classes as equal in age and previous knowledge as possible
Dispensation
No, dispensation for the study during vacations or another kind of absent unless there is a very good reason.
All modusl must be followed to be approved to go to test/examen.
ALL NDA EDUCATIONS ARE BY OWN PAYMENT, NOTHING IS GIVN FROM THE STATE AND IS ONLY QUALIFYING AT THE TRAININGCENTRES OF NDA

The examen in writing is done in the clinic area and classroom after approximate 6 months (depending on access to puppys)
Evaluating is, Pass or NOT pass
The exam in practice
A puppytest on min. 2 unknown puppys, V.S.R is censor.
Will be judged Pass or NOT pass
It can be later than 6 months because of lacking acces to puppys
Word of mouth examen will be just after the practic exam so the student can substantiate and give reason for his/her judgment of the puppys.
Certificate
Will be given after all exames are passed
Priceand duration:
Pris: 1900.00 kr./weekend. = 11.400.00 kr.
Lasting total: about 6 months.
Total time is depending of access to puppies.
Books and other materials are NOT incliuded in the price.
NDA Clicker trainer:
Teacher Vibeke Sch. Reese
Vibeke has earlier educated clickertrainers both among police and military officers.
Vibeke is now studying at The Karen Pryor Academy U.S.A to specialize her self as a clickerinstructor and has been at Bob Bailyes courses to be better to teach this trainingform to others. Thats why no seminars/classes will be started at the centre in clickertraining untill she is done at the Academy July 2009.
The Clickertrainer seminars/education is an offer for educated NDAtrainers, and is allso access to to NDA Service-Social and Signaldog trainereducation.
Lasting: The education is estemated to last about 6 weekend seminars. All begins friday evening from 19.00-22.00 saturday and sunday from 9.00-18.00
To be accepted as a student on these seminars/education: As this is only 6 weekends and such a short time to go through all the seminars, you can only get accepted on the education if you are a certifified NDA behaviortrainer of 1. Degree
