SEMINARS
March 26th Gitte Bundgaard gave an exelent seminar about grooming your dog.
We had 3 wonderfull and educationel hours with Gitte.
Next seminar will be a whole day or weekend where dog owners again bring their dogs but this time they will work their dogs and Gitte will walk among us correcting and helping everybody to do things better.

The Terry Ryan seminar will be held in AALBORG ZOO`S AUDITORIUM
November 7-8 th the world famous Terry Ryan comes to Denmark and gives the greatest seminar of the year at NDA. To give as many people as possible the chance to participate we need to rent bigger facilities. The place will be in the Auditorium at the Zoo.
Terry is a certified Pet Dog trainer from, Karen Pryor Academy U.S.A, she is Bob Baily's right hand and the one to take over his whole operation with seminars and educations in U.S.A as he has decided not to teach in U.S.A anymore (he is past 70). Terry has more than 30 years experience of working with all kinds of dogs.
Terry runs Legacy Training centre Washington, but she is teaching so often in Japan she has her own appartment there, so she needs trainers at her centre in WA to keep it going when she is away.
This seminar will be about:
Ethology - body language videos, etc.
Learning Science with lots of interactive
And then how to apply both of those fields to
Training dogs
Untraining undesirable behavior.
the seminar will afcause be in English, but there will be help for those that needs help to understand the language.
Some knowledge in English is a must.
The clinic has 6 beds for rent in a sharing room. Acces to kitchen, shower and rest room. MUST be ordered ahead at least a month before the seminar, price pr. night 75,00 D kr.
If sleeping in our indoor training hall you need to bring a matress, pillow and a sleeping bag. Access to kitchen, shower and rest room.Price pr. night 55 D. kr.
MUST be ordered a month before the seminar.
If we out of rooms for sleepovers, you need to take care of it on your own.
Lunch is in the price at the zoo restaurant.
Transportation from the sleepover place to the ZOOis on your own.
